Installs for me on this car and previous ones have almost always been almost as much as the springs themselves. I would say general average is between the high 100's to high 200's.

I paid $160. At a Z meet someone mentioned he had a friend with a shop that would do it for $100. So I suspect if the friend discount only brings it to $100 then $160 was fair.

I paid $40 at the local tire/suspension store to have the coilovers compressed on to my shocks. I did the self install after that was done. Many of the car parts places have shock compressors for loaning, I was just concerned about that much energy.

Default wow... those are cheap estimates..

I live in Southwest Florida, and I priced out about 5 shops, and the low bid was about 360, with an allignment, and the highest was about 500 with allignment. I opted to do it myself, and hated every minute of it, but it was worth it... just real hot out that day. If you want to do it yourself, just read up on it first, and have the proper tools handy on game day. Also, check out the writeup on the "spring mount mod" I went through with that, and I'm real happy with how it all came out.

do it yourself.
It's not that hard, especially if I can do it.

Sounds good. Really, if you live close or don't mind driving, I have everything needed to accomplish this.
