Very nice! This is the set I'm contemplating. Torn between the ST or usedc OEM Brembo's.... and like Robert, trying to decide between silver and black calipers. Too bad you couldn't make it to RR this last Friday. I can't wait to see these in person, very nice Dave.

I will definitely be at the NASA sponsored rack day at PMI July 21-22, and maybe some others, but if we have a get together before then, and you're around, you're more than welcome to check them out.

If you need track pads, PM David Muramoto about his new Cobalt's. I ran his car down in Albuquerque and they were fantastic. I forget what compound they were, but they are new. Decent when cold, but they come to temp very fast and never had fade, even with extended laps on V710's, and have excellent modulation. I was very impressed with them.

I don't know, it is such a PITA to change the pads at the track. Any track pads that would be safe driving 60 or so miles on the highway, but still work good at the track?

With your setup, something like Hawk DTC70 up front and BHP XPS out back would take excellent care of you and still be very driveable to and from the track. The BHP pads are a dual use compound that can be left in all the time meaning you only have to change front pads before track days.

Where are BHP pads made? Where can you buy them? Are they only made for stoptech?

Im not exactly sure where BHP pads are manufactured but we offer them through our distributors. They are only made for Porsche applications which covers our ST40 and ST45 calipers since we based our designs around a very commonly used Porsche pad shape.

FYI, the XPS compound is being discontinued from tha manufacturer so we may not be able to replenish our stock after we run out.

Hey, I only went off the track once!

On another note, I now have a good bit of brake squeal when I come to a stop. I removed the pads and put that disc brake lubricant/anti-noise grease on the back of the pads, which slightly reduced the noise, but it is still quite noticeable. Anyone have any suggestions for other ways to reduce and/or eliminate the squeal?

Dave
