Thumbs up About Suspension

Hey guys I have 350z and I ordered Rims with tries that are 245 40 18 and 275 40 18 and I was wondering when I lower my car with the 1.2 eibach springs. (If anyone thinks another set up would be better please feel free to give me imput) .Do I have to replace my struts? and do I have to replace my camber kit too?

Some input would be great.. ..

Thanks everyone for there help

Matt

p.s. Some pictures would be great too of the set ups...

..

the general # that's thrown around is that your camber should be fine for anything less than a 1" drop...so you can probably get close to decent camber adjustment w/ the OE suspension, but you'll be a bit too negative. JIC has a great line of products to fix alignment issues: https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-suspension/272993-jic-rear-camber-arms.html

shocks - depends on what kind of ride you want...what's the springs rates on the eibach?

I am not sure ... I checked and they said it was a 1 inch drop... I tried to do some research but didn't come up with anything. I just didn't want to spend 1000 dollars on suspension when I have so much else to do with the car. What do you think about just the springs and thats it?
Thanks for the help....

Like most lowering springs on the market for the Z, they won't represent a real challenge to oem shocks, they will compress to the bump stops when corner loadings get high enough. Sportlines are guilty of really wide rate spreads, Prokits less so.

Eibach 350Z progressive springs 1”/1”
Spring rates in LBS initial/final front 296/384 initial/final rear 316/421

Eibach 350Z sportline progressive springs 1.2"/1.2"
F: 239/400 R: 257/435

I found my Tokico D-Spec 16 ways adjustable shocks are the best bang for buck shocks that Z owners can buy. They're also more than able to handle the pro-kits. Also, you should consider the Tokico D-Spec shocks and spring combo which is what I'm using right now. They got linear spring rates of 375/375 and I could not be more happy with them!

The pro-kits drop about 1" all around while the d-spec is more like 1.2"
