Talking JIC rear camber arms

got these installed before my alignment...super easy to install, fitment and quality is great. Aligment shop said that the camber arms were used to get the correct Toe and camber..so I'm very happy!

alignment specs:
Front Driver/Passenger:
camber -1.6 / -2.1
Toe 0.03 / 0.03 in

Rear Driver/Passenger:
camber -2.4 / -2.4
Toe 0.05 / 0.06 in

I'm lowered about 2" on JIC 2 coilovers.

here's some pics:

still in the box

installed:

I didn't know you could adjust the toe with this kit. I thought you would have to get the toe bolt....hmm.

Can't go wrong with JIC.

IIRC it's main function is camber, but when my alignment guy was trying to get the correct toe, he had to add a little bit of extra negative camber from what I had specified to get the Toe I wanted (Toe was more important to me...it should make a big difference in autoXing)

*when I had bring in the car and said that I had JIC camber arms, he commented on how he likes them. So far, I have their coilovers, camber arms, CF strut bar, and race bucket seat...all have been high quality and fitment superb.

Peter, where'd you have the alignment done and was that with you sitting in the driver's seat?

Your car is going to handle like sh*t with those camber settings. -2.0 Front and -1.0 Rear are descent camber settings. Having more negative camber in the rear is going to create a lot of oversteer. The Z likes more negative camber in the front than the rear. You need SPC toe adjustment bolts.

thanks for the heads up...I had asked for those alingment specs off a few other 350Z autoXer's set-ups...this is the first time I'll be changing alingment, so I'm just using this as a base point to see how the car reacts. I waited to do this until all my other mods were done, so I could really concenrate on fine tuning the car's suspension.

you need to stop preaching about theory about "what the z likes". after all it isnt what the car itself likes, its how the driver wants the car to be.

in actality of the z, having more negative camber on the rear than the front will make the z turn in quick(a lil oversteer), but the car will want to understeer a little more coming off the corners.

so far the Z 'feels' like it has better turn-in for AutoX...it also feels more lively on the freeway (from what I understand, lower toe-in will do that...some autoX only cars actualy run some toe-out [which would not be suitable/safe for highway use])
