Default Best BBK for my budget (Project Mu, Stoptech,Endless)

Hey Guys,

I am looking to spend around $3k on a BBK. Just looking for the best BBK for that budget.

I like the Stoptech kit, I hear good things about it.

I really like Project Mu 4 pot kit, right now this is the kit is edging out from the other ones for a couple of reasons. The calipers are forged aluminum which are light and strong. Also like the fact theres a seperate pad for each piston, the rotors are very well made.

Please post your feedback, specially owners of this kits, thank you very much

Stoptech will probably be the only ones in your budget.

Project Mu's are freaking awsome! My friend has a set on the front with his stock brembos on the back. OMG. When he went full brake my face went like . Just like that. Those brakes are badass. Even the gay color they come in is badass. But honestly, unless you are tracking, theres no point in getting these awsome/crazy/mfingshizznit brakes.

First of all, thank you guys for your feedback.

I am looking for front BBK, for the rears I just get pads and ss lines. I dont see spending $2K in rear bbk which doesnt do much performance difference, its mostly eye candy.

Project Mu looking good so far

Stoptech would be a terrific choice, as well as AP

The Project Mu is a nicely put together piece, pads are a nightmare to find (I know of 0 aftermarket ones), and the paint on the calipers does not like brake fluid (odd I know but it bubbles)

For about 3500 You might be able to find a complete Megan Racing setup (front and rear). If it is only a tiny bit more why not do it right?

Megan/Greddy/Rotora would not be "doing it right". Stoptech/AP are leagues above the aforementioned ones.

From my understanding they are made in China and their quality is a step down from the AP/Mu/Endless BBKs. Somebody correct me if I am wrong here.

Even pro drift cars use Rotora, so I don't think it would be too bad.

They're not bad but the question was quality in an apples to apples comparision. Plus you think those pro drivers use Rotoras only by choice or maybe budget and/or sponsorship had something to do with it?

Made in China?? Wtf... they're more expensive than Brembo slotted rotors and it's made in China?

I refuse to believe it. I dont even believe that Rotora are a step down from those companies either. I want some solid proof. Track comparisons and heat, etc.

I don't have proof but I have read in this forum, as well as many other car forums , stating this. I would like to validate this as well.

Yes, they are the same exact kits. The manufacturer that makes Rotoras makes the Greddy/Megan and a couple other ones. They are all the same pieces with different logos on them.
