I just got my Z and wow! the breaks sound like they're gonna give any day now! Thanks crooked dealer! Anyways.... I want to upgrade but I am not paying $1200 for Brembo conversion. Four pistons would rock but I don't have the cash. So, should I get turbo slotted/ cross drilled rotors and killer pads? Or get Brembos off of someones wrecked Z? Or get stock replacements until I have $1200?

$1200 for a Brembo set , where ???? How much do you really know about BRAKES , are they really in bad shape. There are a lot of people on here with brake noise issues.

 

Crooked dealer or a buyer who did not bother to HIRE an INDEPENDENT TECHNICAN to totally evaluate the USED car he was considering purchasing?

 

Sorry... my BRAKES are squeaking when I slow down at a light, not when I am braking hard. There's a little lip on the end of the rotor from wear and the pads are about 1/3 left- they look fine. I do know about brakes, thank you terra, I was a tad off with the price. Any suggestions would be nice. If so many people have brake noise.... what are they doing about it??
