Default springs+shocks vs. coilovers???

I am currently running the eibach pro kit on my car and i think it sits a little too low. I was going to get koni shocks but then I started thinking about just going with coilovers. are there any disadvantages with going with coilovers or vise versa? i think i would have way more adjustability with the coilovers as opposed to the spring/shock setup....any input is appreciated.

Yes, more adjustability is a plus. Getting shocks with your current setup will not change the ride height though. So you would either need different springs or go with a coilover setup like you mentioned.

Right now I am only currently running Tanabe springs with stock shocks. My new Tanabe coilovers will be in this week.

more adjustability is only an advantage if

1. you NEED the adjustability
2. you spend the time to make the proper adjustments

^exactly, i agree. so my second question is, how do after market shocks such as tokico d-spec line up to coilover shocks?? if i can save money by just buying shocks, that would be great!
