The race kit is marked as not being for street use since the calipers do not have dust boots and the piston sizes are made for cars with deleted boosters and dual master cylinders. If these calipers were installed on a car with the standard parts, the brake torque would be way off.

As far as floating rotors for the street, all our kits already have floating rotors. The race kits just have a lot more float since that is desireable on a race car. If you were to run a rotor with the amount of float as our race kits, the rotors would contstanly be rattling as you drove. The only difference that allows for the extra float is the washer in the mounting hardware. On street kits we have a tensioned conical washer that applies pressure to the rotor allowing it to move as needed but not rattle. With the flat washers of the race kit, the movement is not controlled and the rotor can move around easier and make more noise.

We will be offering a street version of the race kits with the milled and anodized calipers and natural finish on the hats, but it will have dust boots in the calipers and the same rotor mounting hardware as the regular street kits.

Nice but is that a carbon rotor? Don't think they'll be great in cold stops.

No. it's Stoptech's new rotor treatment that makes it look that way..

its not carbon rotor.. although, they do have that option.

What is the treatment? Simular to the Zinc coating?

Cool So what are the specs? Is this kit for both front and rear? Rotor sizes, etc?

I think I found the answers to my questions with a quick Google search.

Per the LG Motorsports website... the Trophy Big Brake kit has 6-piston front calipers, 4-piston rear calipers, and 14"(355mm) rotors for both front & rear. They list the price for the front kit at $4,165 and the rear kit at $3,765.

Here's some more pics.

I only wish this kit was available with a 13" rear rotor, so I can fit drag wheels & slicks for the 1/4 mile without having to put the stock brakes back on.

Those will be the specs for the 350Z kit however that pricing is for the Corvette. 350Z pricing may not be the same.

Will the street brakes be made for cars with boosters or still without boosters?

Our street kits are always made for cars with stock boosters.
