I've always liked the looks of the 350Z better. That said, my Z06 is actually quite a bit lighter than my 350 was...and it handles a lot better too...can use wider tires, etc., etc. (ducks and runs..) It also has giant panel gaps, it's made of plastic, and the interior is identical to a Cavalier. Also, people always say to me, "I never thought you were a Corvette guy!"
Ah well, I like them both.

How about a super lightweight billet aluminum six piston caliper, similar to what an ALMS car would run...with matte black finish and laser-etched StopTech logo?

That sounds like a bad *** brake dude....but actually i one upped the LS6

basically it is a cast iron LSX bow tie block stroked out to a 454 using a forged rotating assembly with 4" crank, 6" rods and 4.250 pistons...a 300 shot of the laughing gas....in a fully showable 350Z....it will be at sema...so if u wanna go for a ride afterwards just let me know!

Personally I would like a blue or gold caliper option with rotor hats that match*shrugs*

How about a special edition spare tire/wheel that would fit over the giant rotors and calipers on most BBKs? I'll bet "losing your spare tire" stops a lot of people from getting a BBK.

Are the new calipers with piston sizes for a 2005 G35 Coupe ready for sale yet? How long would it take to get a set in Gold?

Haven't forgotten about this...just busy as usual! Stay tuned. We may have a special caliper coming soon. We're talking about debuting it at SEMA on a very special vehicle as well.

Jeff,

Please keep me in the loop. I'm very interested in a SE, lighter bbk. I have now put my bbk purchase on hold till I see this release and specs.

Jeff,

Will this be a front & rear kit? sorry for the questions but I'm REALLY interested in this 6-pot billet aluminum, matte black, laser-etched kit.

What about a candy color series. Like candy red, candy blue, and some others too. That could be cool. I also am in love with the lightweight caliper idea that you came up with Jeff.

Yeah.. I think the matte black or graphite colored billet Al caliper crowd with laser-etched logo is taking a strong majority here. Come on, ST, you know you want to do this.... just give in to the peer pressure.
