I've always liked the looks of the 350Z better. That said, my Z06 is actually quite a bit lighter than my 350 was...and it handles a lot better too...can use wider tires, etc., etc. (ducks and runs..) It also has giant panel gaps, it's made of plastic, and the interior is identical to a Cavalier. Also, people always say to me, "I never thought you were a Corvette guy!"
Ah well, I like them both.

How about a super lightweight billet aluminum six piston caliper, similar to what an ALMS car would run...with matte black finish and laser-etched StopTech logo?
Dont let him lie to you... It's a 454 LSX

Is stoptech looking for engineers?

I'm guessing we won't hear anything until SEMA.

Forged Monoblock caliper from the 380RS shown in the attachment.

c'mmon StopTech, I know you guys can make something similar. This is just a subtle little suggestion on what direction your special edition BBK should take.

You're too big of a baller for my talents. LOL. I'd sell your ride and make you pony up the difference for an Atom, plus the cost of a second one for me- you know, for labor costs

Things are still being tossed around but some other things have come up in the meantime that have taken a priority...most notably this:

I asked this in another thread. But since you're here...

Will your carbon ceramic rotors be offered in cross drilled or slotted versions too?

There is no need for us to slot or drill the faces of our ceramic rotors but we have the ability to do it if we want to. The only reason the ceramic rotors on the Porsche and Ferarri brakes are drilled is to increase wet weather performance as well as adding cold bite since their systems have poor performance in those conditions. We do not have that issue with our rotors so they are not needed and would only serve to increase production time and costs which frankly are already higher than we would like them to be.

^I see. Interesting info. Thanks for the response.

I look forward to an update on your Special Edition kit for us. Any guesstimates on how much longer you will need before you can give us an update or some preliminary info/pics? Days? Weeks? Or Months?

If we just do something like a special color scheme, black with red logo or red with black logo, it would be only be a few weeks since that is easy enough to do. With all of the other stuff going on as well as the post SEMA workload however, we cant say for sure what will happen or what the final outcome will be.

we want like a 10 - 20 pot caliper for the front that almost goes full circle in the wheel well... clearly... so much stopping power your tires tear while braking.
