How much should I pay for Brembos from a 2003 350z?

I was wondering how much I should for used Brembos off a 2003 350z.
Also, will they fit on my 2007 350z?

you should be paying around 1800-2400 depending on condition.
I don't think they will fit but i'm not sure. I know someone here should be able to answer that for you.

I actually couldn't tell the difference between my stock touring brakes and the brembos. Will have to check it out one day!

well, i can tell you from my experience. The stock brakes and teh oem brembos, they feel exactly the same. You really won't gain any better braking unless you track your car and use your brakes hard. It's really just for looks if you just drive your car everyday with normal brakes.
I did a couple of hard stops at high speeds and i know for a fact that the brembos are better. I missed a local autocross event so i can't even comment on that yet.

There only advantage is they dont get heat soaked as fast.

I track my Z often and with stock brakes and aftermarket pads, I rarely suffer heat soak issues, but then I know good braking control

brakes need heat for them to work, since its based on friction after all.
However when brakes get too hot from repeated and heavy use, they glaze over reducing their friction and also pocket of very hot air forms between the pad and the rotor. This together cause the brakes to not be able to stop as well.
So bad braking means poor and dangerous track performance, and it you dont get the brakes cooled the heat can travel though the lines and boil the fluid, causing the master cylinder to stop working nearly all together.
I dont know if 03 and 07 brakes are compatible, other then looks their is no point in changing them. It should be rather easy to see if the clearance and bolts line up

Hahaha, I just might be happy going Brrcats route. So pretty much caliper paint, and decal + Hawk HPS pads for super stopping power.

glazing is essentially overheating the brake pad material which then melts onto the rotors in ridges essentially reducing your braking surface and acting as a dry lubricant under heavy braking.
and finally the reason that boiling the fluid is bad is because you're converting small ammounts of water in your fluid (almost inevitable to have some moisture...better with racing fluids) into air in your brake lines...which gives you the spongy feel of death...or no brake power because air is compressible while brake fluid isn't supposed to be.
What you really gain with Brembos is typically better brake modulation...basically a more controlled braking...and more braking force due to larger or more pistons...
BBK is definitly the way to go on the track...you don't have nearly as much heat soak issues because the larger rotors have longer moment arm form the hub and therefore don't need to generate as much heat to slow you down...yea you have higher brade pad to rotor speeds but this is negligible.
Back to your original question...paint the originals...if it's for looks...you can have the originals painted with high temp paint...done nice for less than 200 bucks...

that would look decent but no where to looking good as a big brake kit with single piece pistons.
I would get stainless steel brake lines if you want a better feeling braking. I hate hawk pads. Their initial bite is horrible. I switched to Axxis ultimates and they are way better.
I can't seem to say this enough on these forums: PAINTED NON-BBK CALIPERS LOOK LIKE ***. And not J-Lo's *** either. It is such a ridiculous step to take that I don't know why anyone would even do it. WHY?
If it looks good, it does to the owner's eyes only, much like a huge stainless steel wing on a '91 Accord looks terrific to the guys who chose it, but provides all of us with just another thing to point and laugh at in a parking lot.

Hence the use of ceramic brakes, on race cars, they absorb the heat quickly aiding stoping power, another result is they absorb heat away from the pad to prevent from glazing. When the brakes are release ceramic also cools down quickly to avoid heat soaking
