I've got no clue - never sold a set and they are not stocked in the US, special order only

Cost differance vs the adjustable Zero2 makes for a difficult decision because what will you do if the preset dampning on the Zero1 isn't to your liking. IMO, answer is to spend a litttle more for the Zero2 and avoid the risk. Surely you'll loose more on being driven to resell a set of Zero1's then the price differance between the Zero2.

I am currently looking at the BC Racing coilovers, but if you guys can suggest something, that would be great.

Looks like your cardomain site lists the HKS coilover.. how do you like them?

the HKS RS are not made anymore though; their replacements are not yet offered for sale in the US - maybe later this year, we'll have to see

so you don't think any sites have them in stock still? has it been that long? Also, is it better to have a higher spring rate in the front, or the same all the way around. I would think higher in front because of the added weight of the engine.

Obviously I can't answer for every shop in the US - we waited 8 months for 2 sets to arrive last time, and I know they are no longer being produced now, as the newer versions were released in Japan already (Hipermax Sport). There is no eta, last I heard, for the newer versions to arrive stateside though

Spring rates don't operate in a vacuum - they are tied very closely to the valving of the damper. The two must be properly setup to work together to produce a good ride and good handling - looking at just spring rates does not really give you any insight into how the setup will perform.

So the only difference between the PSS and PSS9s is the ability to adjust dampening? Can you adjust ride height on th PSS? Would the ride characteristics be the same? Any other differences?

I dont think we've ever even see the PSS in real life, so I have no idea how it performs.

Adam sold me a set of Cusco Zero-2's a while back.. I've been very happy with them on the street... I have tried all the damper settings and settled in on "3".. This yields a ride that is slightly stiffer than stock.. I found that anything below that feels softer than stock.. and "5" is undrivable on the street--any big bump or dip in road will send you car into the air

Their is "in stock" where the person at the end of the phone like can walk a few steps and physically touch the box. Then their is "in stock" where standard operating proceedure is to drop ship directly from the manufacture. Make absolutely certain your dealing with a seller that has the box IN HAND and won't try and drop ship. You don't want to wait and wait wondering what't taking so long.

what about STANCE?
IMO, tire side wall affects the ride comfort.. STANCE with OEM tires were harsh... but with my Kumho and beefed up Stance is Fine!!!
also, Why would you get coilover if you are looking for comfort.. you need to be prepared for little harshness since you will rip the corners with style..

Can you confirm for me if you how you can adjust height on the PSS and if you have both the PSS & PSS9's in stock? Any other differences between the two, other than dampening adjustment? Please pm me a price for both to 60181.

Bilstein told me directly that either coilover should be able to keep a 350Z at oem ride height if desired. That would mean they should be able to do +.5" on your G35 coupe. I do not recall what they said the max drop was for a 350Z, for that you will want to call Bilstein directly just like I did, they are very nice people to talk to. The two coilovers are identical in every aspect including the ability to adjust ride height. The PSS9 simply add's dampning adjustability whereas the PSS has fixed dampning.

yes the PSS adjust rideheight, the PSS9 adjust height and dampening.

We have the PSS available to ship today (can have a set here later this afternoon!), we hope to have more PSS9 back in stock next week, they've been very popular!
