Brembo Brake Swaping Question, Please Help Me.

Default Brembo Brake Swaping Question, Please Help Me.

I Have A 2005 G35 Coupe With The Non Brembo Brake, I Bought A Set Of Brembo's Put Them On, And I Wanted To Know If ,y ,aster Cylinder Has To Be Replaced?

Also I Want To Know If The Racing Brake Shims I Put In Affect My Pedal Feel, I Am Geting Very Bad Pedal Feel, Plus Alot Of Fade, And Far Trhow, Waht Can I Do To Make This Better, Should I Put The Master Cylinder From The 03 04 G35, That Came Iwht Brembos,

Pleas Help Me, With Your Wise Input

try bleeding the brakes first. that may improve your pedal feel and shorten your pedal travel. as for your fade...are you sure it's fade? i mean, you have to heat up the stockers on the street pretty high to get them to fade (more like running two or three road course laps or some pretty hard canyon runs).

i'm not so sure if the volume of the master cylinder on an '04 w/brembo's is that much bigger than an '05 without them. i think the '05's are still 4 pistons in the front and two in the rear. please someone correct me if i'm wrong.

05's are dual piston front and single piston rear. I'm not sure what type of answer this guy is looking for we've given him just about every possible suggestion in ~6 different threads on driver, not sure what type of magical answer he's expecting

You don't have to change the master cyl. Bleed the brakes again, I'm guess you only blead one bleeder on each of the calipers. There's 2 bleeders on each of the brembos.
