What dampening levels?
I have the JIC-Magic FLT-A2 Coilovers and the rear shocks are finally going in. I have not played with the dampening at all, just set it on the medium on for up front.
What kind of levels and differences between front and rear will give me the best handling? I don't give a **** about ride quality/harshness or how stiff things get.
Also I heard that too stiff in the rear would cause me to lose traction easier. From my research I was thinking a stiffer setting up front and a slightly softer setting rear? Like maxed out front and a medium rear.
Thanks!

here is a simple answer. get out and mess with the settings yourself and find what works with your driving style. reason i say this is because what may work for one person will not work for another. be a excuse to go out and play
If your serious about what your doing you will follow standard practice. Set them at the lowest dampning settings at all 4 corners and test. Make changes where needed. DO NOT make setting choices that prevent the tire from maintaining contact with the road because you are set too high, this is why you must start at full soft and work up from their ONLY if needed. You want to avoid settings that can only be used on glass smooth surfaces, real world streets aren't smooth.
To help, go to http://www.koni-na.com/pdfcatalogs/K...ortCatalog.pdf go to page 13, you will find tips on how to set dampning, though they are geared to setups that have seperate rebound and compression controls, you should still read it.

Just to say it, it's far too easy to set things too high and think you have acheived some sort of zen. Only to be humbled by a series of bumps mid corner that causes to you dial down a click or so as soon as your get home.
