Default Strut Hat Help

I was hoping somebody would be able to help me. I am replacing my OEM springs back on the strut and thought I had everything lined up. Well, I didn't and need to rotate the strut cap about 1/4 turn. Is there anyway to do this without recompressing the spring?

Thanks,
Shawn

Disregard, I figured it out.

But I still had to compress the springs.

Welcome to the hard lesson about doing DIY self install's. I can bet the next time you'll know to keep the from upper spring seat aligned as you undo the spring compression. It's not fun to recompress the spring I know.

Yes I will do the best I can to align it. Probably will use a marker to mark where it needs to be at, in comparison to the top of the spring.
