Default painted calipers

Need you guys' opinions, what color would look best on a DB Z's calipers? If someone here has them on their DB Z please post pix thx.

I have the OEM Bronze Brembos and I love them, however I might go for yellow or red down the line. Leaning more towards red because you really can't go wrong...but yellow is tempting

I say a nice silver. Red doesnt look bad on the stockers as far as im concerned they have to be of high quality though. red or silver would be my pics. Try to get the 350z stickers to go on them too i think they look really hawt.

Silver or black. You don't want those calipers too stick out too much.

I went red with white lettering on my DB, it looks really good in my opinion and was very easy to do, but time consuming if you choose to remove the calipers

Leave them as-is or paint them black. Anything else is rice.

I thought he meant he was going to get a BBK. If hes keeping stock non-brembo then yes black is the only choice.

I like blue on DB, with silver "350Z" or "Nissan" lettering.

Thx for all of your inputs. I wanted to get brembo brakes when the time comes for new brakes but I don't think it will clear my AXIS MATRIX rims. I've read somewhere in this forum that it will not clear so I was just going to get it painted. Is it true that it will not clear?

if so, you probably have bad offset on your wheels to begin with. Try gettign spacers and the brembo BBK.

You are looking at painting the stock calipers(15 dollars) and buying oem brembo, (1500+ dollars) Huge difference.

22MM fronts
35MM rears
please tell me if these are bad offsets.

I'm not sure if your rear offset will fit the stock brembos .

I was debating this same thing this summer, and I decided to go with the red calipers with the 350Z stickers in the fronts only. IMO i dont think its rice, i dont have 1500 to spend on after market brakes, and i think painting them black is pointless. I've got good feedback on them one girl even asked if i got new brakes, lol .







PS. the rims are the Rays g35's. My friend and I were messing around

I originally painted my '06 calipers red and they looked okay. I recently re-painted the calipers black and I think it looks much better (it blends more with my smoked out look). I just need to get those silver decals to complete the look.

i just don't get why people say they don't have money to spend on a BBK but paint their calipers and put a 350z sticker on it. What is the point of that? BBK should help with brake fade and has great looks. Basically the people who paint their calipers are only for looks. And the 350z sticker...i don't think it's necessary. I think everyone knows the car is a 350z, no reason to plaster it all over the car.
