Nope...had many NASA instructors drive my car and they ALL said heel-toe sucks in the Z.

I'm not very good at heel-toe but the pedals in the Z just do not inspire confidence. Sure I might be able to hit both with the edges of my shoe, but that does not inspire confidence, especially for a novice. I'd really hate to have the edge of my shoe slip off one or both peddles in the middle of a high-speed apex; that wouldn't be pretty.

The pedals definitely need to be bigger, or at least wider.

How about doing it the easy and free way. Just remove the entire throttle pedal assembly and then bend it so the throttle pedal is 1/2-3/4" closer to the brake? I tried to do it in the car without removal, but it's impossible.

I think Doug tried that, and it gave him some throttle problems with the throttle position sensor. It will now sometimes get out of range, and throw some codes and force the car into limp mode. Be careful if you try it.

You just have to be careful to only bend it at the bottom. Otherwise, it will go past the stop and you will throw a code.

Man that's some work and possible ruining the pedal assembly. I would just spend the 30-40 bucks for a new pedal set + 20-30 min to install and VIOLA... you can now do heel and toe w/o worrying that you screwed up something.

Bending some metal is "some work?" Took 10 minutes, no problems.
