Default DIY lowering springs help

this may sound stupid but I know nissan likes to over complicate a lot of things. To change out springs do I need any special "nissan only" tools? I have someone with all the basic tools to do suspension and everything with but he said some companies require a special tool. Thanks for the help!

i know what you mean. VW for example uses a special VW only tool to get their suspension off. But for Nissan: Nope!
