Stiffest (highest lbs.) springs???
Got an engineer buddy that's going to build me some shocks. I have Tein S-Techs as of now but im going to be autoXing and need something stiffer. I would like to stick with springs seeing as how im having my shocks custome built with custom valving, just need something more stable and stiffer than the S-Techs..
So what's the stiffest springs out?
And what's the stiffest coil overs out? May have to go that route. I want this car to have no body roll what so ever. I also know that suspension is way more than just springs shocks. I have sways and the GT Spec stuff, just seems like the springs/shocks aren't quite what i want.

You have to do a certain amount of ground pounding in order to test what peak spring rate valid, don't do that and your setting yourself and your checkbook up for failure. And we are not even getting into how much trust you can place into someone else's hands reguarding dampner valving, dampner construction.

Had a cage, but sold it. I will get another one someday. Anyways, so most spring companies have spring rates posted, I was just looking for a quick answer on what springs are stiffest.
Oh and my buddy is an engineer for Honda Acura so I trust him and his team.

Your being overpromised by someone that should no full well not to fill your head that way. Their is no such thing as perfection off the work bench without extensive drive time where other dynmics that are not math related come into play. You will not find anything in the spring aftermarket that will offer you any real meaningfull increase over oem or that will not be a detriment because of being progressive. I hope whatever shock you get has at least 3 way adjustablity or can easily change it's valving stacks. If your doing things the right way, your not subscribing to a strict spring rate, but your using a system that allow's you to run different rates so that by testing you can determine what works and what doesn't. Truechoice can sell you adjustable spring perches for use with shocks that are 50mm in diameter and utilize a Koni type clip mount. For the rear you can either use Eibach ESS springs and alter/shim the upper spring seat or talk with Truechoice about selling the rear adjustment parts out of their coilover kits for the Z.
Tein Mono flex coilover would have the ability for you to purchase a seperate set of springs and have a 896/896 setup. However, without testing, you have no idea if that's the right rate setup or not.
I did spend sometime reviewing your past posts to try and find anything else you might have said on the whole subject that could help, but the vast majority you've done aren't suspenision related, though I did try.

Are you just starting out in autoX? If so why don't you drive the car in it's stock form first and learn how to drive properly. After awhile you will not only improve driving skills but you'll also learn what the stock suspension is lacking and may help you on your quest to getting a stiffer aftermarket setup. That's what I did. Started out bone stock in a couple of auto-x's. Upgraded to stock '03 Z shocks and springs for road course action for 4 HPDEs. Only recently went to a significantly stiffer setup in the Cusco Zero 2's for my last HPDE. You'll end up learning a lot more driving your car stock or near stock in the beginning stages.
