Default Appropriate wheel size when getting alignment?

I should of asked this awhile back. But going for another alignment to make sure all is right. I should know this by now but sometimes people's wrong advice gets the best of me. Thing is he's been doing it for so long.

Question is, when getting an alignment is the guy doing the alignment post to have the machine set to 18+ for my wheel size setup? I have 19's. The first guy did that (set to 18+) and the last guy I went to (friend) said it's post to be set to the wheel size that came on the car, which was 17's. Which is right? I believe it's the 18+.
