A straight vane, non directional rotor can run either direction.
Slots, holes, hooks, dimples etc. don't mean anything about which way it turns.

FWIW some Vettes have true DV rotors on them with one on the wrong side and it doesn't mean jack unless the car sees very high speeds and brake use. For a street car you'd never know the difference if they were DV and on wrong.

BBK's for racing applications will most likely squeek. It's just a fact of life and you'll have to accept it. Hell, a lot of the people with the OEM brembos compalin about squeeking and those are factory parts. You can do things to minimize it but if you expect it to be as quiet as the non-brembo oem floating calipers setup then good luck. When racing, the last thing the driver cares about is squeeking, squealing so in general BBK's aren't designed around that issue. They are built to perform.

Thu:

The squeaking will not go away. I have the same kit you do and also got the squealing. I got used to it after awhile, but my braking style changes now to suit the car (meaning my stops are harder than before and I don't feather/slow depress the brake pedal as much as before).

Since my rear rotors are blank, and the front rotors that came with the kit are slotted/x-drilled, I bought a set of used OEM front Brembo-sized Track rotors (blank) and installed them to keep the blank rotor look all around. I sold the slotted/x-drilled rotors so it turned out to be an even deal for me

After switching to blank front rotors, the squealing subsided noticeably. They are still there, I can still hear them (and if I want, others can hear it pretty good too HAHHHHAAH), but I got used to them and my braking style changed to minimized the squealing.

And this is why I am going to get a set of Hawk HP+ next time. Since with the Hawk HPS I still have squeals anyway, the HP+ can't be any worse, and the HP+ would give one hell of a braking response.

But once you get the HPS to warm up a little, you'll love the braking. Damn Z stops on a dime nowaday, no questions asked.

Hey, you play, you pay! There's a reason why BBK is not for everybody...

I just noticed that your rotors do not have the distinctive black ring near the center, as GTNPUZ does. Is this an authentic kit?

Hehhe, freakin Vince. Of course it's an authentic kit, those are REAL Wilwood calipers man, no replicas here ahhahah! These are not kits made by Wilwood but are kits put together by assembling Wilwood parts.

The distinctive black rings are just the rotor hats. Not sure if GNTPUZ runs multi-piece rotors? The rotors shipped with fastbrake's kit which the OP got are just normal Centric rotors without the black hat coatings like the ones on their Centric Premium rotors.

So, the Wilwood 6-pot fits stock 17s? I've been hesitating ordering this BBK since I run 17" rims for autocross.

I can't say that all Wilwood kits will fit stock 17's. What I do know is that the ArizonZCar (AZC) kit fits - with room to spare. I'm rolling on them now till I get my new setup together. I can take pics with the stockers if you want.

Depends on your wheels , my MB weapons fit over 14 inch rotors and 6 piston calipers.
