Looking for some help......Anyone know of interference issues using the combination of a Seibon VT carbon fiber hood and JIC Magic front strut bar?
Looking to purchase a front strut bar and I don't want to hack my brand new hood. Thanks.....

Not sure. I have a VT nd I've looked at other vt hoods and there's seem to be different mold design from underneath. Heck there's were even painted black when they received them. I had to paint mine, for it had the ugly look of the handlaid fiberglass. That was at the time Seibon was on backordered and I guess the decided to rush them out the door. At the time I thought it was normal.
Anyway I had the Greddy strut bar and it rubbed slightly. Could have been an easy fix. Now I have the Crawford plenum and it rubs in three areas. I just live with it. By the way you can't run a strut bar with that plenum and a TN kit. Or yet to see one due to the blow BOV. But what your asking, I think you could get away with for sure, without any rubbing on that bar. Maybe someone else will shine in.
