yea last year there was a large batch that had problem with the pillow ball mounts. but from what every one say, all of that has been resolved, and all vendors should have new ones.

I've been running Stance for about a year now. The pillow ball mounts were very noisy but since have been resolved by running SPL Parts rear mid-link arms in the rear and having the pillowballs re-sealed and packed with grease. The SPL mid-links move the spring back to the stock location. These coils are best for people who like to go extra low while still providing enough suspension travel for excellent performance.
I highly recommend the Stance combined with the SPL rear mid-links.

Search the topic stance and noise. Many threads exist with owners complaining about noise or clunking in the rear traced to the rear oem lower shock mount bushings soft rubber insert not being up to the task. I recall a post by Alex at Battle version where it was hoped he could produce a solid metal bushing to cure the problem.
Does anyone have a unbiased (not manufactuer or reseller) shock dyno on any version of the Stance 350Z coilover?

I have a D2 coilover rear and it makes absolutely no noise. I have driven on them for approx 12,000 miles and have inspected the lower bushings and have found no abnormal wear.

Im looking to buy coilovers within the next week or so. Does anyone know of a distributor that has the new 'OEM style' stance coilovers for sale? Also is there any difference in the ride height adjustability with the OEM style mount? Just curious if they still go as low etc..
