Default lsd and using spare tire

My understanding is that a clutch-type LSD may get damaged if used with different overall diameter left and rear right tires. Does that mean I should not use my spare tire at all if I get a flat?

When I had a broken rim, I swapped the fronts on to the rears, and put one rear and spare on the front. I thought that was just the 'right' thing to do, regardless of LSD or not.

Anyway the trunk space can't fit your rear tire. So I took the spare tire out and rather call tow service.

^I fit mine just fine, and I have a roadster. Granted, nothing was left in the trunk besides the wheel though.
