Front Lower Control Arm
Ok... i searched and searched and searched and there arn't any topic about lower control arms. I've went to GoodYear today to get an alignment check because my car was pulling to the right. Suprisingly, they told me it was my right lower control arm that was bent forward a little
. I don't recall hitting anything or letting anyone else drive my car so, I have no idea how it got bent. Unless, i must have rolled over somthing and bent it in the process. My question is, should i just go to the dealership and order my lower control arm or is there an aftermarket set that i can buy? If there are aftermarket lower control arms out there, which ones would you guys recommend me getting. Any help is appreciated.

There is no aftermarket lower control arm. Check with Performance Nissan they usually sell stock parts the cheapest.

www.nissanpartscheap.com is where I ordered all of my OEM parts from, but you are better off sticking with Andy. Im sure he'll get you a better deal.

i just bought some suspension parts from justin at thenismoshop, prices were lowest than i could find. both justin and andy will take care of you though. on another note, i'd get a second opinion and look at the suspension, its kinda hard to tell if those arms are bent a little. and there might be some other bent stuff that you might as well take of now
That arm is cast aluminum I believe without going out to take a look, I know the top is. Cast Aluminum can bend on rare occasions, but tend to break before they bend to that point. Id get a second opinion on that one. Its seldom that cast bends and dosen't spring back. Cast Alum is pretty brittle stuff
actually..
battle version is creating some..
and if you go to more-japan. they have the nagisa auto ones already for sale...
beware they are PRICEY!!!
also i think spl parts are trying to make some FLCA's

Are you sure the lower control arm just didn't move off it's bushing? That seems to be a somewhat common occurrence. I think the OEM bushing there easily corrodes, and the arms slips off center.
The bushing on mine was not corroded at all, it tends to stay somewhat lubricated with te grease that is packed inside of the rubber on the end of the control arm. Maybe that was just my car... it is an 03 tho, so I would expect it being its the oldest year...
