Default Lowered alignment specs.

I did a search but nothing I found helped... My 350z has been lowered 1.2" in the front and 1.4" in the rear (Tanabe NF 210) and I need to get it aligned. I haven't found anywhere in Houston that will do it for me except for the dealership and they told me that for them to do it, I need to give them the specs. They apparently will only align it to the factory specs, but since it has been lowered they say the specs will be different? Is this true? And if so, does anyone know the specs?

Thanks

(I did search, nothing helped)

Alignment threads are in the suspension forum.

You lowered the car. You may never be abler to duplicate the OEM alignment. If you are uncertain about alignment specs, take it to a shop that knows what they are doing.

so far i've done about 3 z's and 2 G's lowered. . .the front lined up perfectly to OE specs no problem. .and the rears just needed CAMBER adjustment kits to line up the camber side of things. .other then that TOE lined up amazingly well front and back. .plus if you have a new camera/computer machine it should auto compensate for the loweredness (new word i know)!!. .

i took mine to the dealer, they didnt ask me for specs. specs are specs. 2 degress is two degrees on oem suspension or aftermarket suspension.

This sounds odd.

Maybe they know they can't get it back to factory specs, so the want you to tell them what you want them to do with it.

I lowered my car by only .6" and this is what I ended up with...( no changes were made. The alignment was just "checked" after the spring install)

Because I autocross, I like the extra negative camber. You will get much more being even lower. (maybe too much)

whatever the front caster and camber come to be. .there is no adjustment for it less you buy the control arm with the adjustments on it. .but the front hardly ever changes. .lowered or not. ..

Call Curt @ http://www.tracktimeperformance.com

He can align anything you throw at him. His shop is located on the north side of Houston.
