TEIN Type Flex Coilovers with EDFC
Anyone have the Tein Type Flex coilovers and the EDFC?
Just wanted to hear about your experience... plus and minuses if any.
I would greatly appreciate it.

I've done the search but most of them are items for sale or they go off track...
I'm considering having the Tein Type Flex coilovers with EDFC installed on my '08 Z.
Are there any precautions I should be aware of? Will the coilovers fit perfectly? Will there be any cuts or drastic modifications by installing the EDFC (I heard holes need to be cut for the motors?)? Do I need a camber kit with this setup >>
Fronts 19x9.5 +19 (245/35/19)
Rears 19x9.5 +17 (275/25/19)
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me out.

I put up a very detailed how to install/review/comparison of Tein Mono flex. Ive driven both Mono and regualr Flex and they are very similar-I like the Mono flex better. Look it up for a better idea of what your getting into
Thanks Alberto! Love ya...

So you would say that Monoflex is much better than the regular flex?
Essentially, it depends on the driving usage and preferred ride experience.
For me, I just can't make up my mind:
(1) Tein Flex with EDFC
(2) Tein Mono Flex with EDFC
(3) Tein Comfort Sport
I basically drive 80 miles per day to and from work.
I want a comfortable ride, and just want to drop it 1.5"-2".
I want to minimize on tire wear and optimize handling.

I have a Tein flex with EDFC, no complains, i have it with 20" TSW thruxtons and hotkins sways, Honestly the car drives pretty smooth, I have it for daily driving front damping 12 rear 14, When i go to the canyons i put them at 2 in the front and 4 in the rear, Z handles like its on rails, I think i have a good set up. the stance is pretty sweet, Not to tucked in, but i dont have any rubbing issues or scrapping also, i might want to lower it a little more for better control, But then will be dealing with rubbing and hitting the bottom.
Good to hear you have nothing but good things to say about the Tein Flex with EDFC...
How about any noise, rattling, or creaks?

xdrius-if you drive 80 miles a day, dont go with the Flexd or Mono Flex. The CS at 8k/8k is more than enough to handle "good" and ride nice. I love my EDFC, you can feel the difference when driving hard, if you cant feel the difference somebody installed it wrong!
i like my tein flex. well if you compare it with the stock of course its way better. my car is daily driver too. you'll loose a little bit of the comfort side but you get way better handling and steering response from the flexes. i have not had a chancec to ride on other Z with different coilovers so i can't really compare it with other coilovers beside the stock suspension. i also have a EDFC...... but not installed. this things are time consuming to install so decided to hold on it. if you want a clean install with wiring hiding under panels its very time consuming. but if you want it and don't care about wiring showing its an easy install....... good luck
