Tein vs JCI
If you plan on tracking your car, go with the JICs. If the car is predominantly a street car, then go with the Teins. From what I've read, the Teins use a dual piston design, while the JIC use an inverted monotube design. Also, the JICs have a larger piston (45mm v. 40mm). Mine should arrive today, and I'll try to get them installed before Watkins Glen for a thorough thrashing / testing.
that pretty much says it all about how he feels so no need to be insecure about your purchase. Everyone has different taste and some people may not like the fact that they're made in taiwan, that's all. I was considering the jic's as well, but I'm not so sure anymore. To each their own.

I went for the Tein setup because of the EDFC. Having the ability to adjust dampening on the fly is key. So much easier than having to stop the car, get out, pop the hood and trunk and make adjustments.
