As long as you don't let the fluid get low you won't get air in the system. It just puts pressure on the fluid to help push it down.

Where did you get one from and how much?
I actually borrowed one but I'm ordering my own from JSCSpeed, one of the sponsors here. Their site lists them for about $54 but I believe the price will be lower if you PM them here. It's a Motive Power Bleeder:

Nope, didn't have any problem. Basically, it forces fluid into the reservoir when in turn feeds, the master cylinder. The only realy problem is if air is leaking from the reservoir, then it overfills so you'll spill some when you disconnect the bleeder.

We have a little wait. Aaron hasn't been on the forum since Friday. I may give him a call.

vacula ftw

open bleeder connect vacula have it on for as long as you want. Disconnect, close bleeder. eeeasy

if you dont want to get it.

Have a friend help you, its not very safe though if your on jack stands. Have him sit in the car pump the brakes about 5 times and have him press the brake down as hard as he can and have him hold it while you open bleeder. He has to keep pressing brake pedal down while its spilling out, when its done close bleeder and he can let go. But make sure you're bleeding in the proper bleed sequence.

An easy way to remember is to start at the farthest corner from the master cylinder and work towards it.

Your memory is short. Don't you remember when I sent Bill my homemade one and he spilled brake fluid all over Matt that was under the car?

It's nice. Fluid comes out SLOW but it's nice.

I'm wondering if a vacuum bleed would work just as well?

i'm about to install all four brembo calipers, rotors, pads, etc tomorrow.

question:
do I have to install the calipers in any order (for example, driver rear, passenger front, passenger rear, driver front) or is that just the bleeding process?

Install them in any order. It's the bleeding that needs to be done after all four are installed and that's where you follow the order of "passenger rear, driver rear, passenger front, driver front"

i just read some stuff on *********.
davesz#3, I could really use your input since you went from non-brembos to brembos.

i read that when installing the brembos..you'll have to do some cutting in the rears to get the brembo rotors to fit. did you have to do this?

also, someone said for our nissans go from driver rear, passenger front, passenger rear, driver front. and that the one you mentioned was the "old school" way.

^ The non brembo brakes have a smaller dust shield that surrounds the rotors, you will have to trim this to fit the larger rotors of the brembo setup. Its pretty self explanatory once you look at it.

Thanks for the info DavesZ#3. I ordered the bleeder from JSC Speed and a Stillen brace from Performance Nissan. I hope this does the trick!

And make sure you have a SHARP pair of tin snips! I bought a new pair and they cut through those shields like butter.

Dave, how do you keep it from leaking? I heard it wants to leak at the cap when it has pressure. I ordered mine should be here soon.

I pumped my power bleeder up to 30psi and I had no problems with a leaking cap.
