Default Tein Type Flex Ride Height Adjustment

Okay. This might be a noob question but then again, I am a noob on modding a Z car.

I'm just curious about the ride height adjustment on the Tein Type Flex. I have the suspension installed on the car but I want to lower the rear little more without having to take out everything again. The only thing that I've adjusted was the shocks, not the springs. By adjusting the springs, am I lowering the whole car as well? (I was told that the adjustments on the springs only reflects on the spring rate, not the ride height. True or False?)

The only thing that I've adjusted to lower the suspension was the shocks. Is there a way I could lower the ride height without taking the whole suspension back out?

Please any suggestions or insight would be great! Thanks!

You have those tein wrenches those are to adjust the height, the shocks are for damping, meaning for how smooth you want the ride or stiff, I have the flex system, You adjust with the 2 wrenches that they came with.

I thought the ***** on top of the shocks were for damping? What about when you adjust the last seat lock and the green part of the shocks spins up or down....that doesnt set the ride height?

The easiest and fastest way to adjust rears on Tein coils is to take the the spring/adjuster out of the spring bucket/toe arm.

Change front ride height by adjusting the length of the dampners.

Keep spring preload levels at the lowest level needed to keep the springs in place should any wheel become unladen.

In the rear, set height with the spring, then change dampner length the same amount in the same direction (up or down).
