Quick question... do Nismo brembo brake pads come with shims? Or can the stock OEM pad shims be used? I'm curious because when i replaced my pads last year with Endless SS-S, they did not come with shims and i had to get them directly from Endless USA. I was having extreme brake noise and some vibrations (apparently this is inherant in the brembo caliper design i was told from Endless). Any of you guys who use or sell these pads that know chime in, thanks.

 

My rule of thumb ---If they come with shims, I use them, if they don't, I don't----Either way I spray them with anti-squeal ------with shims, both sides*, without, the back of the Pad

*Not the side that contacts the rotor ---the shims/pad etc <<<<< clarification

 

Can anyone else who use these pads comment? I know a few of you guys have them.

 

i would like to know abou these pads as well....i had to buy a new set of pads when i bought my 04 track...so i just bought them from the dealer and couldn't get hawk pads in time since i did not want to scare the rotor...

well the nismo pads, they are going for about 120 shipped (front) and 100 shipped for the rear on ebay from a nissan dealership
