Need coilover installation help
I have the JIC coilovers, and I've started to install them, but since JIC has no directions included in their package, this install hasn't been easy. So to my question:
There are two different height adjustment mechanisms, one for the spring, one for the shock body. I understand that on the front suspension when you adjust the height of the spring, you are effectively increasing the spring rate. However, how do I know what the spring rate is?
Now on the rear suspension, the shock is separate from the shock, so it's not really a coilover setup. How am I supposed to know what height I'm supposed to use for the coilover perch as opposed to the shock height setting?
