If you've got the G2 caliper paint kit, you don't have to take the calipers off. Makes things MUCH easier.

With this kit, you have a narrow window in terms of painting time because the paint will set between 4-6 hours.

The directions recommend allowing 2 hours for the calipers to dry before placing the wheel back on, but you've got a dilemma if you don't have access to a lift or blocks because doing each wheel one-by-one is clearly going to take a while. By that time, your paint won't be good anymore and you'll only have done 1 or 2 calipers. It's also recommended that you not use the paint in temperatures over 70 degrees, so this isn't a summer project.

I have the G2 kit and am faced with the dilemma of getting all four tires off at the same time because I don't have access to a lift.

If anyone else on the list has painted their calipers, can you let us know how you did it?

If your wheel doesn't touch the calipers why can't you just put them back on? I'm sure they'll dry just fine with them on.
