Anyone know how difficult it is to install new camber control arms in the rear? I will probably just have a shop install the camber kit, but wanted to know a rough estimate or what you guys have paid?

 

Rear camber arms are not a tough install. If you're also adding in the toe bolt it can be a little more costly since they have to do a little cutting.

I've seen older threads mention something along the lines of 80 bucks to install them. If you have a jack/jackstands and a socket set you can do it yourself, but the nuts can be pretty tight. You might not have the leverage to break them loose.

Just remember you also need an alignment after you get it done.

 

Thats a good copy. I am purchasing new tires and want them to last a little longer than 15K and figure it might be a worthwhile investment. I am usually pressed for time so I might as well have a shop do it.

 

Be a man, and do it your self, and use the money you saved on the install to buy some beer or something.

 

Its not too bad. The toughest part was the fact that youll have to work under the car.

 

super easy man... you could probably do it with your eyes closed.

no really...

- jack it up, use stands
- unbolt the toe bolt or camber arm (or both)
- elongate the toe bolt hole with a dremmel, use bit #115, it eats through that suspension member metal like no tomorrow (do a search for "SPC toe bolt install" or something similar)
- install new toe bolt and/or camber arm
- rinse and repeat on the other side
- get alignment

I say 4 hours tops if you're a newb like me.
