Default slide pins on rear caliper, one has rubber end

Anyone know which position those go in? They are equal length. I didnt notice which position they were in.. I saw they were equal length, and thread, but not until the grease was cleaned off to relube did I see the rubber end. Doesnt appear to make a difference.. and its not mentioned in the Service Manual, but if there's a right way, I wanna get it right... thx
