Do you road/track race or will the BBK sole purpose be eye candy?

StopTech > Project Mu for the serious road racer.

i do track ( total nub for now ) , and if it works out, would love to T/A

so a bbk will not be an eye candy

it is a huge investment so i am starting to do my research early.

EDIT : NO FI ! and it will stay that way.

Project Mu are a great kit but hands down StopTech makes some of the best BBK's for the Z33 for the serious road racer. However a BBK is only as good as the tires stopping the car.

Front: 14” 4-pot Silver Caliper,
Rear: 13” 2-Pot Silver Caliper,
F&R Slotted Zinc Coated w/ Black hat Rotors

StopTech has the best pad selection also.

StopTech is a great choice. They have a presence here on the forum, they are located in Cali, and they are active in racing. Parts are available easilly, and they are relatively cheap. If I need them refinished it's not a problem. I like the fact that I can call on the phone and get tech suport, and not have to talk to a slesman or an importer who knows nothing.

Contact PaulGT2 for pricing. And trust me... Worth every penny. Also, IMO, a much better kit than WilWood. I would buy some used OEM Brembo before the WilWood Kit.

All that test showed me was that Stoptech are not worth the money over OEM Brembo. Unless you're going for eye candy. Also, temps may have a lot to do with rotors. The Stoptechs use the aerorotors which are far superior to the OEMs. I was personally expecting a far better showing from Stoptechs.

If the OEM are that good, I wonder what the Brembo GTs can do.
