Bob Bell Nissan of Maryland A+
I just got my 2003 serviced under the powertrain warranty this week. I had the rear axle clicking issue. The first time I took it in they quoted me $350 to make the repairs, I immediately got on the phone with Nissan USA and they gave me a file claim number and told me I would be contacted by a regional specialist. After missing her call 3-4x because she refused to call my cell phone rather than my home phone (in KC).
Either way I just walked in with the claim number and nothing else and told them it was approved by Nissan USA.
Took it in at 7am was out by 10:30am NO CLICKING! $0 charged.
They did however quote me $700 for a new bumper (damaged by city), and $450 to remove a penny sized dent from my hood (snow truck).
So the Z's pretty happy right now, just changed the oil last week, got the clicking taken care of, putting on my new brakes w/my cuz this weekend. Only things left are new front tires, repair the front bumper (when I get paid by the city or win a judgment), find a dent shop for the hood, and a new right rear tail light (has a crack).
YAY!
