Hi everyone!

Im buying new rotors & pads & I thought,"If I'm taking the calipers off, I should paint them!".

I will be using the G2 Caliper paint kit to paint the STOCK calipers.

I have a 2004.5 silverstone roadster with 18" factory rims(no chrome) & the non-brembo brakes. No body mods, everything looks stock.

What would YOU paint your STOCK calipers if you had this set-up?

I wouldn't paint the calipers. You can't polish a turd.

 

I accidently voted red thinking you were buying calipers, the only color I would contemplate doing on the stock caliper is black.

Hmmmmmm, I didn't realize I put " Don't paint" as an option,lol. I guess I did put"what would YOU paint them?" though...

I'm not upgrading the calipers, not worth it for me. But since I'm putting new rotors & pads on & the calipers are going to be taken off, I might as well paint them.

 

how about making your own decision and painting them the color you want, since you will probably do that anyway despite this worthless poll

 

black, you don't want to amplify those calipers with bright colors....they are nothing to look at, however black would be a better color than the neutral color they are now. good luck bro.

 

I wouldnt paint stock calipers...dont waste the time on making them anymore showy...I suppose black to hide them more if anything.

I was leaning towards white to "match" the rotors, but black seems to make sense as in less "show".

I used all the colors I could get from G2 in the poll so thats why there's colors like yellow,pink,etc.

Of course I'm going to paint them the color <b>I</b> want, I just wanted input from others, which is why I asked "what color <b>YOU</b> would paint them", & most said they wouldn't paint them at all.

I'm still going to paint them, they look like garbage right now. Very blotchy & peeling. Won't compliment the new rotors very well.......

 

White calipers? I guess youll be cleaning those alot
