The monoflex is the newer tein design. Reportedly more comfortable despite significantly higher spring rates. I run it and it is stiff. It handles like a go kart and you feel everything but the dampeners do a good job of making it bearable on bad roads.

I have the Flex's with the edfc and could not be happier. The edfc helps the dampening. My 3rd preset is max comfort and I dont notice a difference between stock, btw the car is dropped a good inch

I have the monoflex with a lighter rear spring; 12kg vs the standard 14kg. I have the standard 14kg fronts and I do have the edfc. I run them 95% of the time on the softest setting. The ride is a bit stiff, but I was expecting a bit harsher given the spring rates. If your roads are extremely bad they might be a bit much. For me, I am happy with them. Like rcdash stated, it definitely has go kart type feel...
