Only get SS lines, the cheapo ones have issues with the Brembos. My Technafits wouldn't fit the Brembo calipers and I had to get the exchanged for stoptechs.

Xzero, make sure you update when you get the calipers in.

They should be on soon. I'll keep you updated!

SS lines is the only way to go! Stoptech SS lines it is!

The calipers are on 6-10 day shipping so they should ship monday. It all depends when my powerslots come in after that. They're on 6-10 day shipping too.

I might attempt to do this with a help from a mechanic, but we're not sure on how to bleed the brakes properly(air bubbles & such).

Could anyone here help with this? Is it hard? I've been told its a pain if you do it wrong...

I'm calling the place tomorrow to see if hardware comes with the calipers or if I have to order it as well.

There are a bunch of threads on bleeding the brakes. My advice to you would be to buy a Motive (or similar) pressure bleeder. It will make the job a hundred times easier.

$1274 w/shipping! (I almost bought these used for $1800! Phew!!!!!)

Then I ordered Powerslot Rotors all around for $660!

Now I need SS lines & pads all around......

Anyone wanna recommend something? I was leaning towards Stoptech SS lines... But pads?
I recommend Carbotech Bobcats for street driving. Very good pad and very little dust. If you plan to track the car, then I suggest starting with the XP8's and working up from there.

Yeah, right after I posted that I looked through the threads.
I'll be getting a Motive pressure bleeder. I'm not going to track the car anytime soon, though I do go on mountain runs sometimes so I'm going to take a chance & go with the Centric Extended Wear brake pads front & back. For the price, I'll try them out & test them.

Anyone want to say anything about the Centric brake pads?

So here's the list so far:

Front & rear OEM Brembo calipers $1274 shipped
Powerslot Rotors $660 shipped
Centric Extended wear Pads(F&R) $100 shipped

Now I need to order:

Stoptech SS lines
ATE Super Blue
Motive Pressure Bleeder 0107 for Nissans I believe?

Where's a good place to buy these that wont screw me on shipping charges?

If I can order those 3 things today, all the parts will most likely come around the same time & then its GO TIME!

Thanks all!

Okay!

Front calipers
F+R pads
Powerslot Rotors
Stoptech SS lines
Motive pressure bleeder
ATE super blue

have all arrived!

Sad thing is, they had no rear calipers in stock. Plus I'm waiting for my e-brake shoes still...

Another sad thing, the calipers are reconditioned, but look brand new. They are actual Brembos, no Brembo decals, so you gotta buy those too if you want them.

They have been re-painted the gold Brembo 350z color, I can see some places where there was a small chip or two before the paintjob, but nothing major.

The calipers come fully loaded! New pistons, pins, shims, oem pads, no bolts!

The only thing I'll need is the bolts for the rear calipers...

The Powerslot rotors look great! They have a nice vein system, looks good for airflow.

I cant wait! I'll post some pics of the parts when I have a chance!

Thats sweet that the calipers come loaded with pads already. Are you gonna send in your old pads for the core charge once you install your Brembos?

I sent an email to the site and was told that they cannot accept non-Brembos for the core charge if you buy Brembos. That leaves the question of what to do with the old calipers.

The core exchange is only if you send in the exact same complete caliper so they can recondition it & sell it. Example: Your Brembo caliper fails for some reason. You buy a Brembo caliper from these guys, install it, send your broken caliper, get the core-exchange difference back.

I was just on the phone with this guy David from ASC. He is very happy to have all these inquiries coming in about these calipers but if actual orders start flying in, he has no chance to keep up with demand as of now. The reason is everyone who has the non-Brembo calipers will be buying the Brembos, which means no core-exchange is happening....

He is thinking of a few ideas about this & will hopefully be joining this site soon!

GREAT NEWS!

When I called today, David had just recieved the good news that he has a set of rear Brembos being reconditioned right now & he's gonna send them out as soon as he gets them!

I have to work in an hour, sorry, no pics yet. I woke up a little late, lol.

I will get the pics of everything I have tonight! I'm drooling just looking at these! Its been my dream to have OEM Brembos, lol!

Not bad for a Brembo upgrade price. I was thinking of this but not it seems reasonable :0

PICS!

Heres the box 1 caliper comes in:

Here's the right caliper with the new hardware & OEM pads(see the small mark I circled? Thats the worst blemish. Not bad! The left seems to be it EXCELLENT condition as well!)

Powerslot Rotor:

Stoptech SS lines:

Centric Posi-Quiet Extended Wear Brake Pads(I was going to go with Project Mu B-Force, but couldn't justify spending more on pads that will be used for mostly street driving & a couple mountain runs. Plus, these dust less & have been scorched so no need for break-in or bedding.)

Motive Pressure bleeder:

Now I just need the rear calipers & Project Mu Inner Sports Shoes...............

Thanks for taking the time to report all this. I just may have to go for a set of the rear Brembo calipers. Too bad those aren't in stock.
