Well after reading Andy's post on the GTSPEC fender braces I thought I would pick up a set. I have to admit I was skeptical about their performance, like actually being able to "feel" them on the car. I was proved wrong, the steering feels much more tight and responsive. I haven't had a chance to get out on the track yet, but just a little spirited driving and I noticed the difference. Definitely worth the money and effort to install them. I took a pic since I probably won't have my fenders off again anytime soon.

I assume that they will give me a little more confidence entering and exiting corners, but we'll see.

awesome! i was looking into a pair of these...
the thing is, i was looking for a pair of these for a 300zx and read somewhere that stiffening up this point causes understeer? i dont remember why but i remember reading it. anybody know more about this??

It may "cause understeer" in the sense that it reduces oversteer somehow, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Most who have fender braces probably have the adjustability in their suspension to dial it in the way they want anyways.
