You should do it and post pictures and a follow up review so we can have another epic thread to laugh at.

If you do that, your repair bill after your entire suspension collapses will be more expensive then a set of lowering springs. New Tein s.techs are $200 on ebay.
I agree with Eric. You are indeed a cheap bazterd.

No my friend. You can pay for a new car after your high tech chop shop springs cause your handling to go to **** and sends your car off the road into a conveniently placed tree whos only point in its existence is to take cars away from dumb *** ricers.

And just out IDK curiosity, how old are you?

^^ well put...

Take it from people who have modified their cars, or work in the business of suspension modification...

If I remember, people who used to cut their springs in the 90's (yes, I'm up there in age..) with their civics and integs had problems with their axles and camber after a while, it seemed more expensive in repairs than actually attaining lowering springs as people are mentioning here... take it from the older generation... Learn from our mistakes and make it your benefit.... just say NO TO CUT SPRINGS

dont cut or heat your factory springs.... or buy just the springs...both will f*ck your suspension quick...from questioning many members on here and mechanics around my area you will ruin your stock suspension about 10-15k miles in before you need them replaced.

Go all out and get coilovers or a brand new suspension. I went with tein basics and got over an inch drop and the ride is still excellent..for $950 new. There are members on this site selling them used for half that.

Just so you know you are going to need to get a camber kit as well....so expect to pay at least $700 for front and back for that or around $400 used.

my 2 cents....oh and be sure to use the search tool here before asking questions...It will save you a lot of flaming..there are tons of posts on what you should do to drop your Z.
