Default Lots of brake dust on front wheels

My front brakes (stock) are producing a crazy amount of dust. I cant go but 2 days with out needing to clean my wheels because of the disgusting amount of dust I collect. There is plenty of meat on the actual pads and I had the rotors turned but no luck. There is also quite a bit of squeaking every now and again. Anything I can do to fix this?

Dust is the byproduct of using the brakes. Either park your car and look at, or don't use your brakes.

There's a lot of previously postings covering brake pads and dust. Do a search and view what people thought the best pads to be. Like you, I quickly tired of cleaning front wheel and switch from stock pads. Not many members seemed to favor them. It appears that that ceramic pads probably dust the least.

yeah stock pads dust like MAD...no way around it except trying to use the brakes less or getting different pads.

i asked a nissan mechanic about my brake dust and he mentioned that is the nature of the Z and recommending never changing out the rims for it makes you brakes wear our faster. he mentioned the dusting is the air circulating and doing its job to cool off the brakes?

Thoughts? or was he telling me a bunch of BS?
