Default brake dust cleaning on my gtfs

well i know theres a ultimate thread on cleaning volk wheels

but my front brake pads are oem and there a b when it comes to brake dust

(picking up some hawk hps ceramic pads soon)

n e ways

what im asking more is whats a good product to use tht would b safe to keep these things clean

i got meguiars ultimate detailer spray
but i was wonderin if i cleaned the wheels with a mircofiber sponge and then dry with a microfiber towel and then with a microfiber towel apply the ultimate detailer would it take it all otu and keep it clean

and is there a ealer or some sort to keep this stuff off

it just looks ugly after a wash


wheels are volk gtfs 19s in mdc red

You should use some type of wheel cleaner, some over the counter stuff that are decent are Eagle 1 Wheel Cleaner. Anything that is non-acid base.

Thought I'd give you a little confirmation on the new pads. I put the same pads on about a month ago and have no dust buildup now.

The only thing i would dare use on a set of volks would be dawn dish soap/water and maybe a wheel wax once they are clean.

Members have recommended time and time again to wash wheels (any wheels) with nothing stronger than soap and water. A 50/50 mix of car wash/water is pretty potent.

Want to try a more harsh solution on $3,000 wheels? Not me but you can.

would tht turtle wax carwashs stuff work or should i just stick with the dawn stuff?
