Your second reason for wanting to switch your coils is because you are looking for a more "aggressive set-up." You are going to have to further explain what you mean by this statement

I too am lost by what you refer to as an aggressive setup - you still have not mentioned what exactly about your current setup that you don't like, nor have you had it in an environment where "aggressive" would even be advantageous. Aggressive in terms of what? Drop? Harshness over bumps (not something one shoots for on a street car..plus it will wreck the coilovers in short order, not to mention bushings (ehem...Blasian )?

We get this same exact PM probably 10 times a week - don't talk yourself into something you don't need, especially when you can't define what it is you actually want. You gotta be honest with yourself when modding the car. The point is to make it better than stock, not worse, and to fulfill a certain want or need that you have that the stock setup does not fulfill. No one can honestly tell me they want a car that rides worse than stock - you might want a setup that is not as floaty as stock, but you still want it to absorb bumps and not toss you around in the seat over ever crevace in the road. If you want a setup that is firmer, you can do many things...increase dampening, play with tire pressure, increase spring preload.
Thanks for the comments everyone.
Sorry guys. I should've been more specific on that aggressive setup term. I DO want it to be lower (about inch and a half or two) but I though I was maxed out on my height (was able to drop about an inch all around). But then Kwame mentioned that I could slam them if I wanted to... not that I'm judging hes knowledge but I just want to see it for myself.
I do want it more stiffer but I'll be honest. I think I was just lazy and never messed with the dampening setting.

But it's all irrelevant now because considering what others have said, looks like majority agrees that Hipermax 3s are better *getting my flame suit on* Plus I won't have to spend any money

unless something has drastically changed between the Hipermax II/RS and the newer versions, you should literally be able to drop the car on the ground- my car is super low (HKS RS coils), and I could go lower still if I needed. As far as overall feel, you have to be willing to put in the time to dial any adjustable coilover in.

since they are on your car already, why not just play with the heights yourself and see? It's very simple to adjust the height

Well, when it comes to performance parts and if I don't know what I'm doing I don't like to mess around with it so I guess I'll get some pictures taken and see what others advices/opinions has to say.

im lookin to do the same thing, but im UPGRADING from tein basics. ive been looking at the stance gr+ pro, so the 12/10 setup, the rear is OEM style like the tein basics and runs a progressive spring in the rear. the 12/5 setup is a true coilover in the rear and runs linear springs all around, also the front has the addition of the helper spring.

intense is making me an offer i cant refuse for the gr+ pro. my only problem is that they may drop my car too much?! since im running 10.5 +18 in the rear and have plans on doing an 11" with an even more aggressive offset... will these be right for me? the fenders have been rolled.

the 19s are for the street, but im loookin at 18x10 +22 all around for some track time.

any input on my situation?

ive been lookin at the cusco zero2, and tein superdrift units also. but the stance price im getting is 600-900 less than the two mentioned above.

Hmm interesting. Not even the sport version has crazy ride height adjustment. I don't know why but I get the feeling the non sport might give less drop. But again, I'll post pics for others to see very soon.

sorry buddy, haha. i dont really like making new topics cuz i get yelled at by the gods.

its tough to find sites/forums that have ACTUAL info about coilovers. all they give is price... yah thats important and all... but i need to know what im buying.. heh. and i dont wanna waste the time of any of the sponsers on the site.

stance =12/5 linear
tein superdrift = 12/10 (im guessing progressive rear??) Front max drop 2.4" Rear max drop 2.1
cusco zero2 = 10/7

thats all the info i can find BLAH... eh im done with this tonight, ima go play sum TIGA WOODZ 09!

p.s - i was lookin at BC coils but ive heard mixed reviews, from AMAZING to COMPLETE CRAPOLA. so i dunno... no one in AZ has em..

ive ridden in a Z with ksports, a friend of mine drifts with them 2 weekends a month... swears by them... although ive heard different on this forum.

*EDIT* - i should get priority since im older, have more posts, and have been a member longer! muahahahahahaha! just f'in with ya.
