Lowering Springs pics
Hey guys i dont know if u read my other thread but i just picked up an 05' Dark Silver 350z Base model and im loving it, but coming from a slammed civic on full coilovers driving the Z feels like im driving an SUV. Im thinking about lowering the Z and i need some suggestions for lowering springs. Im not looking to slam the Z or go full coilover setup just yet, i just want a decent drop to set me apart from any other Z on the road.
Some of the springs i was looking at were the HnR sports (had them on my civic and they were great)
Tein S-techs
and HnR Race's but im not sure if they make them for a Z
All i pretty much wanna do is kill most of the wheelgap and keep a nice-decent ride, so lowering springs are probably the best bet
Does anyone have springs that give a decent drop and dont require a shock upgrade? If so some pictures would be really helpful. Please state what springs they are when you post please
note: Also, next mod is a pop-charger (had to research what the hell it was first to find out its a cone filter lol, oh well as long at it makes power for 100 bucks why not)

That looks pretty good, its a nice moderate drop. Those are supposed to be about a 1-1.3" drop correct? So if i go with tein s-techs or H&R sports they should be a tad bit lower, which is what i want.
Couple questions with lowering the Z.
Ive installed full coilovers on my civic, would i have a problem installing springs on the Z? Is there anything I would need to know before doing it myself? (im aware i need a spring compressor) From what I understand its pretty much take the suspension apart and put it back in the reverse order.
Also, with my civic suspension i was lowered a good 4" without any camber kits and as long as my toe was in spec i didnt eat up tires anymore than stock, does this apply for the Z? or would i NEED camber kits? (yes...i know its a good idea but is it necessary for a 1.5" drop on a Z?)
Any of course anymore pics would be appreciated. What springs give the lowest drop on a Z without having to have camber kits and upgraded shocks? all the ones ive seen are only around 1.3", the next step being full coilovers

the level of necessity for getting a camber kit lies with you. The car is dialed in with some negative camber from the factory. Lowering it anymore will bring the numbers even further into the negative. It will chew up tires a bit faster, but it will probably handle a bit better too.
It is up to you, but the camber is DEFINITELY going to change.
If I were you, I would wait till you are ready to get the coilovers and put on the camber/toe adjustment kits at the same time.
