Default Front Wheel bearing Question

So there is this weird sound coming from my passenger side. I believe it's the wheel bearing. So I went to one of my local repair shop, he estimated a $300 for the front wheel bearing, he also told me i need to replace the other one as well, since there is this weird sound as well. Well, I am like What???? $600 just for the bearing, and my 03 only get like 32k miles. well, I searched the forum and realize the parts are like 130... Is it a tough job to repair the front wheel bearing? or should i ask the pro??

yes, each wheel bearing hub assembly can be purchased for 130 each side. Also, since it's the whole assembly, it's very easy to install. Takes less than 20 minutes each side. Just bolts. If you can do brakes, you can do this.

no rear is not a full assembly and is a difference piece.

. I haven't done the rear so i can't comment but most of here said it has to be pressed onto the hub.

So pics i have seen of the rear bearing, it seems it can be bolted on by 4 bolts.
