there is no answer for "which one is better..". It's really depends on your demands
If you like little bit softer and drop dead on the rear, go for tenzo gf210(but needs rear camber kit extra $$)
or you can lower about 0.5~0.7 inch w/ tein and keep the stock stiffness?

OP,
I installed gf210's this summer and rear spc kit to keep in spec. Ride is super smooth and tight, but lost a little travel. I have an 04 g35 6MT with 350 tanabes also 20s...TT

Tanabe GF210: For the 2003-2007 350Z, the GF210 springs lower the car approximately 1 inch up front and 1.2 inches out back, and feature spring rates of 6.0 kg/mm front and 6.7 kg/mm rear.

Tein S Tech: 350Z. S Tech's springs lower your car .7 inches in the front and .6 inches in the rear. Spring rates are 386 lbs front (6.9 kg's) and 403 lbs rear (7.2 kg's).

but S Techs match up far better with early struts (03-04) than the Tanabe. Tanabe's work ok with the later revised struts (they don't work great, just ok). Tanabe's really perform better with better struts such as the D Spec and especially Koni's

I just installed some S-Techs. My buddy has the Tanabes on his Z, which is an 04 (mine is an 03). The S-Tech's drop is not as great, but you don't need a camber kit with them. The Tanabe drops a little bit lower, but you will definitely need a camber kit. The S-Tech's gave my car a stiffer ride, but it handles much better. My buddies Tanabes feel a bit softer. Also keep in mind that if you have 19's or 20's on your Z, you will have to get your fenders rolled with the Tanabes, the S-Techs are perfect. Just my $.02

actually the reverse is true sadly - slammed on springs is definitely FTL if handling is a primary goal. Yes, a modest drop does help things out, as well as a slightly increase in spring rate. But slamming the car with springs vs shorter stroke shocks and/or coilovers actually hurts handling, even vs a bone stock car believe it or not. It looks cool yes, but ultimate handling tends to suffer as a result

...I'm having S-techs installed wednesday...I measured my fender wheel well heights today so I'll know the exact drop...I'll let you know. The car also has 15mm ichiba spacers front and 20mm in the rear.
I'll post pics Wed or Thurs.
This is a before pic...befor spacers and springs.
I'm a 66 year old ex=Boxster owner, I've had the Z one month. I got rid of the 986 because of 2 catastrophic motor failues. One in an '02 at 6k miles that was warranted and one in my '04 S out of warranty at 63,000 miles.

Tanabe NF210..you won't sacrifice comfort, you'll get a nice drop (more noticeable the s. techs), and you might or might not need to get a camber kit. your call. ive ridden in 2 different cars same year with each spring setup, thats why im voting for the Tanabe NF210. coupled with a good pair of shocks like Adam had mentioned (koni yellow, Tokico, etc) and its FTW
