...I'm having S-techs installed wednesday...I measured my fender wheel well heights today so I'll know the exact drop...I'll let you know. The car also has 15mm ichiba spacers front and 20mm in the rear.
I'll post pics Wed or Thurs.
This is a before pic...befor spacers and springs.
I'm a 66 year old ex=Boxster owner, I've had the Z one month. I got rid of the 986 because of 2 catastrophic motor failues. One in an '02 at 6k miles that was warranted and one in my '04 S out of warranty at 63,000 miles.

Where are you getting your alignment done at? I would love to see the Z after it is on the S-Techs. I've been debating for quite some time now but I really would love to see (in person) how it looks/feels on those springs. Please get ahold of me if you have time! Thanks!

Tanabe NF210..you won't sacrifice comfort, you'll get a nice drop (more noticeable the s. techs), and you might or might not need to get a camber kit. your call. ive ridden in 2 different cars same year with each spring setup, thats why im voting for the Tanabe NF210. coupled with a good pair of shocks like Adam had mentioned (koni yellow, Tokico, etc) and its FTW

i have some NF210's and i must say that i did sacrifice comfort, the ride is a rougher now compared to stock or to the weak S-Techs (dislike the drop they give). NF's will make the ride nice and smooth but hit a small bump and you will definitely feel it, other than that if you are a careful guy shouldn't be an issue.

here is a side-ish view of the Tanabe NF on 18in wheels with 245/35 F and 275/35 R. The front "splash guard" sits about 2.75inches off the ground, thus is the one i have most trouble getting over a speed bump. In actuality if you live in an area with a lot of speed bumps then stay away from the NF drop....the bigger the speed bump then you will be scratching some of the mid-pipe of the exhaust and so forth. Happen to me twice already in two different speed bumps, never been back there since. Really the main reason why i haven't gotten a kit SA seems to have speed bumps in all APT complexes and store complexes, oh and excuse my plate lol
