I have a really dumb question. While you could spot the red + silver spring + shocks after installation, will you be able to see the swaybars?

My understanding is the sway bars are installed at the bottom of the car, right?

The rears are easy to see, the fronts are hidden by the undercover. You can see front sways from above between the radiator and the pullies/belts.

Yes, the sways are mounted from under the car. It's relatively easy to do on ramps or jackstands.

I'm currently running nismo s tuned shocks and springs. I have VDC and have had no issues... You'll be fine.

But the post doesn't really answer my questions:

#1 Since I have a 2008 GT with VDC, can I install the spring + shocks + swaybay setup without messing up VDC? I don't intend to turn it off every time I start the car.

#2 IF the above setup does mess with VDC, sounds like I won't be receiving any benefit from this mod?

Some help would be nice, thanks in advance.
everyone else answered your questions regarding VDC, but the fact of the matter is you would not even want to bother with this setup on a later version car...for the simple fact that your existing shocks/springs are already very close in spec to the NISMO S Tune, and only the rear sway is slightly larger (your front sway and the NISMO front sway are identically sized). Not to mention, they are non adjustable. All in all, a giant waste of money on a later car, they were designed for the earlier, non revised suspension equipped cars

I am going to use Hotchkis bars, which are much stiffer than OEM / NISMO ones.

My understanding is that NISMO bars offers very minor tuning.

On the bars, totally agree. But the GT did not get the Nismo Z's shocks and springs, leaving him with a standard 08 shock and spring setup, so it would be a upgrade to install the S-tune suspension. Stiffer springs, stiffer shocks and a little lower ride height.

Oem 314/427

Nismo S-tune shock and spring setup 350Z (twin tube, fixed height)
.6"/.6" drop
Spring rates Front 393* Rear 448/254*-504
*estimated initial spring rates (notice the front doesn’t have much spread)

^^^agreed^^^
The Nismo S Tuned suspension is over priced IMO. I was lucky to get a set with very low KM's at a good price. The ride responsiveness is improved over OEM.
